Besides our adventures for a small group, we offer for all our tours a private option. Here you will get the whole tour just for your group without any other guests. A special day, which will make your vacation in Iceland a unique experience, that you will never forget.

All private tours include pick up and drop off at your hotel, guesthouse, Airbnb, or each other location and will be operated as a Super Jeep tour.

After the booking is completed, we will get in contact with you to talk about all the details of the tour. 

You can choose one of the following tours: 

Volcano Hike with a geologist (6 hours)

Hike up to Iceland's newest Volcano and learn interesting geological features about the development of the eruption and the lava field.
The eruption at Fagradalsfjall began on March 19, 2021, and offers the unique opportunity to experience a breathtaking natural spectacle in a very unique way. As a professional geologist/volcanologist, I can give you a detailed insight into the processes of the eruption.
A volcanic eruption is a natural phenomenon, therefore the activity of the eruption can change quickly and the view of hot glowing lava can not be guaranteed.
The hike takes about 1 hour to 1.5 hours in each direction (2 to 3 hours in total). It's a difficult hike through rough terrain and sometimes bad weather conditions. Hiking experience, physical fitness, and good hiking equipment are required. 

Geological Golden Circle Tour (9 hours)

Be ready for a special kind of Golden Circle tour. We will explore some of the most beautiful places in Iceland and learn about unique geological formations and the history of the landscape around us.
Stop the tour: Thingvellir National Park, Hot Spring Vally Haukadalur (Geysir / Strokkur), Gullfoss, Keið volcanic crater.
A short lunch break is planned in the Geysir Restaurant, where we can strengthen ourselves for the rest of the day. (Price for lunch is not included).

Northern Lights hunt in a Super Jeep (4 - 5 hours)

Northern lights make winter nights in Iceland a mystical experience that you won't forget.
We will use cloud cover maps to look for a suitable location outside the light pollution of the city.
The ride in a Super Jeep gives us the opportunity to visit remote places off the main roads and also offers an additional adventure factor on our tour. While we are waiting for the northern lights to appear, I am happy to provide you with more information about the northern lights, stars, the geology of other planets, and the formation of our solar system.
Northern lights are a natural phenomenon and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
The sighting is highly dependent on the weather and cloud cover, so the tour can be canceled at very short notice due to poor weather conditions.

Explore the Waterfalls of the South Coast (9 - 10 hours)

On this tour, we explore the breathtaking waterfalls on the south coast of Iceland. Not only do we drive to the well-known tourist hotspots, but we also visit lesser-known waterfalls off the main road. An adventure for all ages that you won't forget in no time.
In total, we will visit 6 different waterfalls, which everyone is very special for themselves. I will offer you also the opportunity to hike up to Stóra-Dimon, a small hill, that will give you one of the most amazing views in Iceland.
Visiting the following waterfalls: Thorstein's Grove, Gluggafoss, Gljúfrabúi, Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, Kvernufoss.

Please Notice:

- The tour can be canceled with short notice, because of bad weather conditions (You will get a full refund)

- The northern lights tours are only possible between the 1st of September and the 31st of March.

- You can choose the start time of the tour, depending on the amount of sunlight, (Northern light tours after sunset) 

- For hiking tours hiking experience and physical fitness are required

- Because of gas pollution in the area, the volcano hike is not recommended for children under 12 years, pregnant woman, or people with lung diseases.
