Helicopter flight over Glymur waterfall, Skjaldbreiður volcano and þinvellir National Park - 1 landing
From Reykjavik we head out to Icelands highest waterfall Glymur, which hides in a deep, narrow canyon at the bottom of Hvalfjörður (Whalefjord). From there we pass by Skjaldbreiður
shield volcano which last erupted 9.000 years ago forming the base of Þingvellir
lake and national park. Following the Continental Rift
line through the national park you will see deep cracks and crevices due tectonic plates pulling apart.
