Ask anyone what Iceland’s Golden Circle is best known for, and they’ll probably say: Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir hot spring, and Gullfoss waterfall. But this tour goes further — soak in a natural hot spring, visit a greenhouse restaurant, and step inside a historic turf cave to taste real Icelandic flavors like fermented shark, brennivín, and flatkökur.
Golden Circle's greatest hits — with a twist:
- Þingvellir National Park – Iceland’s first parliament was established here in 930 AD, and thanks to its unique geography, you’ll walk between two continents: the North American and European tectonic plates.
- Geysir – Iceland’s most famous geothermal area. The star of the show, Strokkur, erupts every 5–8 minutes. Your camera won’t rest.
- Gullfoss Waterfall – One of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, plunging into a canyon. If the weather allows, walk down close and feel its power up close.
- Secret Lagoon – Iceland’s oldest natural pool, set in the countryside with steam rising all around. A beer in hand? Yes please.
- Friðheimar Tomato Farm – A cozy greenhouse restaurant famous for its fresh tomato soup and homemade bread (lunch is optional and not included).
"This is a packed tour, our guide Matt was great, loads of information and funny too. The Gullfoss waterfall is a must see. So happy I’ve ticked this off."

Insta-ready natural sites and Icelandic flavor
After we pick you up in Reykjavík, we head straight for Iceland’s wild beauty. First, we’ll pass Hellisheiðavirkjun, the country’s largest geothermal power station and one of the world’s top ten.
Þingvellir National Park
Walk between continents and into history. Þingvellir is a UNESCO site, where you’ll learn about Iceland’s birth as a nation while standing in a rift valley created by tectonic movement. It's as powerful as it is beautiful.
Geysir Hot Springs
While the original Geysir now rests, Strokkur takes the stage — sending boiling water skyward every few minutes. You’ll hear the crowd gasp before you see it burst.
Gullfoss Waterfall
Nicknamed the “Golden Falls,” this majestic double-drop waterfall slices through the Hvítá canyon. Stand at the top, or walk the path down for a real rush of mist.
Secret Lagoon
Slip into the warm, geothermal waters of the Secret Lagoon — Iceland’s oldest pool. Natural surroundings, rising steam, and a beer in hand if you like. You’ll float, sigh, and smile.
Friðheimar Greenhouse
A lush oasis of tomato plants thriving thanks to geothermal heat. Sit among the vines for a light lunch (not included) and try the tomato soup, served with freshly baked bread and a basil plant at your table.
Return to Reykjavík
As we make our way back, your phone will be full of new photos, your mind full of stories, and your stomach — hopefully not still full of shark.
