With over two minutes of totality, Snæfellsnes offers the longest and most complete eclipse experience in Iceland. Set against a backdrop of glacier-capped volcanoes, lava fields, black sand beaches and dramatic cliffs, the peninsula provides an extraordinary setting for this rare event.

The highlight of the experience takes place at a private horse farm, where guests are welcomed with drinks before gathering for an early dinner prepared with local Icelandic products. From this peaceful rural setting, the entire eclipse timeline can be followed: from the first partial phase at 16:44, through totality between 17:45 and 17:47, to the return of daylight at 18:46.
